Brewing Guide for Perfect Tea from Emberew – Ceylone Black Tea
Ingredients for 1 cup
- 200 ml of 100°C boiled water
- 5g tea of “Emberew”– Ceylone Black Tea (or desired amount)
Equipment:
- Porcelain jug with lid (preheated)
- Tea infuser
- Stirring utensil (or spoon)
Brewing Instructions:
- Preheat the Jug:
- Begin by preheating your porcelain jug with hot water. This ensures that your tea maintains an optimal temperature during brewing.
- Boil the Water:
- Boil mineral water to 100°C. (Don’t use re-boiled water
- Add the Tea Infuser:
- Place 2.5g of tea infuser(or desired amount of loose tea) into the preheated porcelain jug.
- Pour in the Boiled Water:
- Carefully pour the 100°C water into the jug with the tea infuser. Close the lid immediately to retain the heat.
- First Steep:
- Allow the tea to steep for 3 minutes. During this time, the tea leaves will release their flavors into the water.
- Stir the Tea:
- After 3 minutes, stir the tea gently to ensure the flavors are evenly distributed.
- Second Steep:
- Let the tea sit for an additional 2 minutesto further develop the flavors.
- Enjoy the Tea:
- After a total of 5 minutes of brewing, your tea is ready to be consumed.
For Iced Tea:
- Cool the Tea:
- Let the brewed tea cool to room temperature or refrigerate it to speed up the process.
- Add Ice:
- Once cooled, pour the tea over ice cubes in a glass.
- Toppings:
- Add any desired toppings such as fruit, herbs, or sweeteners to enhance the flavor of your iced tea.
